Apart from the luxurious hotel amenities and numerous activities, that we are offering to our guests as a most modern mountain resort, we are also especially proud of the climate we are in and we are using every opportunity for bringing it closer and presenting it to our guests. Gold gondola
Zlatibor Gold gondola with its nine kilometers line proudly assumed the title of the world’s longest panoramic gondola lift. This gondola connects the centre of Zlatibor with the ski resort Tornik, which at the same time is the highest peak of the mountain. It was officially put into operation on 11 January 2021 and since then it does not cease to be one of the most interesting attractions on this mountain. With the current capacity of 800 passengers per hour, in 72 separate cabins, with 10 spaces each, the gondola offers numerous tourists an unforgettable experience and 25 minutes of enjoyment of the vivid landscapes of Zlatibor, as long as the ride takes in one direction. Seize the opportunity and enjoy the precious view. Create memories and make the best photographs, relax, and let yourself go in the ride that leaves you breathless.
Stopić cave
Stopić cave is located on the northeast side of the Zlatibor mountain, between the villages Rožanstvo and Trnava. It is distanced by only 19 km from the very centre of the tourist destination, i.e. from our hotel. Due to its natural characteristics, preservation of morphological and hydrological traits, mostly calcareous baths, being unique by size and origin type, the preservation of endemic species of the cave flora, environment, and the landscape beauty, Stopić cave was placed under the protection of the state by the Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Serbia in 2005, as a monument of nature, a protected natural area of great importance. You can visit this Zlatibor attraction for the whole year, every day, within the working hours of the cave. You can organize this brief and pleasant trip on your own, or you can opt for an organised excursion. Take on an interesting adventure you will remember for a long time!
Gostilje waterfall
One of the most attractive hydrological values of Zlatibor is located in the village Gostilje, 25 km away from the centre of Zlatibor and our hotel. On Gostilje river, in front of the estuary of the river Katušnica, water collapses from a 22 m high limestone cliff, thus forming a unique waterfall, that is among one of the highest natural waterfalls in Serbia. The landscape around the waterfall is arranged so that you can spend an entire day there. Apart from the exceptional and spacious area where you can have a picnic, in the immediate vicinity, there is a children’s playground, a mini zoo, as well as a sports field. It is also possible to visit this location by organised transportation, as well as your own vehicle. Enjoy the energy of water and the beauty of the untouched nature a step away from you!
Lake Ribnica
Lake Ribnica is distanced by only eight kilometers from the centre and the hotel Zlatibor Mountain Resort & Spa and it is the second-largest lake on this mountain. With the Gold gondola activation, it became even more attractive, because a great view extends from the gondola, and for this reason, this lake exactly is a stop where you can spend a certain part of the day and after that to continue with your ride and landscape watching. As the name itself suggests, Ribnica lake is rich in fish. Recreational fishing is common, with great potential for sport fishing, and the lake is mostly rich in chub, trout, carp, tench, and catfish. It is a special experience to walk by the lake and observe natural views because the lake is surrounded by a dense pine tree forest.
Mokra gora
Morka Gora is an authentic mountain village that stretches between Tara and Zlatibor mountains. A popular attraction is an old narrow-gauge railway, Šargan Eight, that goes 300 meters uphill and forms an eight shape. Through Šargan by “eight”, it overcomes the altitude of 300 meters, crosses 10 bridges, and goes through 22 tunnels, in total 16.5 kilometers in one direction. From Mokra Gora to Višegrad “ćira” goes through the canyon of Rzav, crossing the state border, and descends near the bridge on the Drina, crossing a section twentyish kilometers long, with nine tunnels and 12 bridges. On the nearby hill Mećavnik there is a traditional village of our renowned movie director Emir Kusturica, that was built in the local ethnic style. A lot of souvenirs, quality food, and unique scenes for taking photos await visitors.
Adventure park
If you are an adrenaline lover and you cannot imagine your holiday without an adventurous experience, we notify you that in the very heart of Zlatibor, nearby the hotel, on 4 acres of pine tree forest, there is the adventure park in Balkan. You can demonstrate your abilities, your imagination, and resourcefulness through seven levels. In the park, licensed instructors who will be able to help around the equipment instructions, polygon, and getting familiar with the park itself, are at disposal of guests.
